Green SiC micropowder: is deep green or light green color, crystal structureis a hexagonal crystal, essential mineral is α-SiC.High hardness and strong cutting ability, stable chemical characteristics, good thermal conductivity.SiC’s hardness is higher than corundum, and ranked below diamond, CBN and boron carbide. Mechanical strength is higher than corundum. Mohs hardness is 9.2.,microhardness is HV3280-3400kg/mm2. Density is no less than 3.18g/ mm3 ,density of heap is 1.2-1.6g/ mm3. Raw materials are petroleum coke and quality silicon sand, appended with salt, then smelted in electric arc furnace.

Used for the wire saw of monocrystalline silicon, polycrystalline silicon.
